Printed Products

Before proceeding with the purchase of Geopsis printed products, please read their terms of use. The purchase of Geopsis products from its website is a retail purchase and concerns personal use, implying the full and unconditional acceptance of the terms of use. For wholesale purchase and resale/distribution, please contact sales@geopsis.com. The intellectual property rights of third-party works included in printed products are always indicated in a special space on them with the name of the Creator or other wording. To protect the intellectual property of Geopsis, printed products include typographic traces proving the identity of the work and serve as legal evidence. Copying part of Geopsis printed products, by any means or for any use, reproduction, sale, and generally any commercial exploitation or publication, without its written permission, is strictly prohibited. Any violation of Geopsis' rights will be prosecuted according to European and Greek legislation on intellectual property.

Digital Products

Before proceeding with the purchase of Geopsis printed products, please read their terms of use. Geopsis digital products include a) digital maps and b) eBooks. A) Digital Maps are provided through the 'Avenza Maps' platform, an application by a Canadian company named Avenza Systems Inc., for mobile phones and tablets. The purchase of Geopsis digital products is executed through the Avenza Maps application and is therefore governed by the regulations and any legal restrictions of the company providing the Avenza Maps application. The user understands that for any technical issues encountered during the use of the application, the company providing the application is solely responsible for resolving them, not Geopsis, which essentially serves as a map provider within the Avenza Systems Inc. platform. The only exception is a potential issue with the cartographic display/georeferencing of digital maps, in which case Geopsis is committed to taking immediate action to provide the user with a corrected map file. B) eBooks are available exclusively through the website www.geopsis.com. Geopsis eBooks incorporate digital traces such as the buyer's name and email, as well as invisible traces, such as encrypted pixels in images and watermarks. Sharing Geopsis eBooks in any way or by any means, for any reason or purpose, is not allowed according to the laws of the Greek State, the European Union, and worldwide laws protecting intellectual property. The digital traces incorporated in Geopsis eBooks may lead back to the original buyer, who becomes accountable in case of illegal sharing, copying, or commercial use.

Services / Digital Services

Geopsis reserves the right to refuse or delay, for a reasonable period, the provision of services offered on its website for various reasons, such as force majeure.

 

Disclaimer

Geopsis, without guaranteeing and therefore being liable, makes the maximum possible effort to ensure that the information and all content presented on its website, in its printed products, in its derivative products through its services, in its digital maps, and generally in all its products available in its online store, from third-party distributors, within and outside Greece, in online stores, or physical stores/bookstores, are governed by the highest accuracy, clarity, temporal proximity, completeness, correctness, and availability. Therefore, Geopsis is not liable in any case for any damages or loss of profit, direct or indirect damage, or decision-making arising from the use of its printed maps or books, digital maps, services, and generally all its products.

Furthermore, Geopsis printed or digital maps do not constitute topographic or cadastral evidence and, therefore, cannot be used in any case in legal proceedings to resolve civil or other disputes, nor can they be used as documentary evidence in any other case. The purchase, possession, and use of Geopsis printed and/or digital aids (maps, etc.) automatically imply the full and unconditional acceptance of the terms of this paragraph.

Return Policy

In the case of purchasing Geopsis printed products, the return of money is excluded for products that have been opened from their packaging. Money returns are made only after the return of the printed product in its sealed packaging (see below for details) and its inspection by us within 15 days from the date of purchase. The return shipping costs of the product are borne by the buyer. Returns of products not purchased from our online store are NOT ACCEPTED. Product status update: Returns of printed products due to your consideration that the map information is not correct/up-to-date are not accepted.

Printed maps: If for any reason the product you received is defective, you must proceed to its return within 7 days from the date of receipt. In this case, we will replace the defective map at our expense, and we will cover the shipping costs. You also need to contact us by sending us a photo(s) of the product, focused on the defect(s). Money return for defective products is not accepted, only their replacement.

Printed maps: If for any reason the product you received is defective, you must proceed to its return within 7 days from the date of receipt to the purchasing store. You also need to contact us by sending us a photo(s) of the product, focused on the defect(s). Money return for defective products is not accepted, only their replacement. Money return for non-defective Geopsis products sold by third parties is not accepted under any circumstances.

Requests for the return of digital products or money from the purchase of digital products by Geopsis are NOT ACCEPTED.
